National Trust for Scotland Cruise
July 1978 (year uncertain) This cruise, on S.S.Uganda, sailed from Greenock and called at Rhum, before sailing close to St. Kilda. The highlight of the cruise should have been Iceland, but on reaching Reykjavik harbour, it was too windy to go ashore. The cruise went on to visit Thorshavn in the Faeroe Islands and Alesund in Norway, before returning to Leith. |
